Resources available for teachers

One of the purposes of the CWMA is to increase public awareness through education about invasive, non-native plants by providing informational materials and activities.

The Iron Furnace CWMA's education program includes activities and links for educators to use in the classroom. Image of a weed activity to be used in the classroom.

Activities include the kudzu plant, pictured right, which can be shown to take over any tree (or person in your classroom).

We also have Mad Libs and other worksheets for use in the classroom.
